POST recruitment are exclusively recruiting for a niche business close to Leeds that is looking to overhaul its ecom proposition.

The core of the business has sustained long term growth and with this new appointment they're looking to add new channels to their offering.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation of a 2/3 split in the office, unfortunately remote candidates will not be considered.

The e-Commerce Specialist will oversee all aspects of the sales platform, developing and implementing strategies to drive traffic, increase conversion rates and optimise user experience.
Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day operations of the eCommerce platform, including product listings (descriptions, images, video, demo and reviews).
  • Create and manage seasonal and annual campaigns using data and analytics to identify to make improvements and make data driven decisions.
  • Lead product merchandising, pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximise sales.
  • Build and understanding of our customer groups and use the insights to hone how we market and sell to them.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Procurement, and IT teams to optimise and enhance the user experience.
  • Improve SEO performance and use digital, email and social campaigns to help drive traffic, conversions, and growth.
  • Regular management, maintenance and review of Ecommerce channels including marketplaces such as Amazon & eBay.
  • Grow and development knowledge of current and potential markets, understanding the competitor landscape and working with colleagues in Marketing to identify opportunities to differentiate and diversify offerings.
  • Contribute expert knowledge as a Subject Matter Expert and Stakeholder on relevant projects within the business.

Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Ecommerce management.
  • B2B preferential but not essential.
  • Deep understanding of Ecommerce platforms and digital marketing best practices.
  • Proven track record of driving Ecommerce growth and improving user experience.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Demonstrable understanding of revenue, profit and ROI.
  • Proven ability to build costing proposals and manage a budget.
  • Highly IT literate - experience of using Sana Commerce would be advantageous but not essential.
