Your new companyWe are working with a FMCG organisation based in Leeds (LS15). They are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join them on a 12-month FTC. You will report into the brand communications team.

Your new roleTo support the whole team in delivering the marketing initiatives that will deliver brand growth and meet commercial objectives.

  • Marketing budget reporting and monthly reconciliation with the finance team, reporting directly to the head of marketing.
  • Support the team with marketing budget related admin including raising purchase orders.
  • Support the brand communication manager with internal and external PR including press releases, trade advertisements and head office events.
  • Supporting the product and innovation exec in managing sample requests and preparing for retailer brand plan meetings.
  • Supporting the product and innovation team with artwork for new products and changes to existing product artwork.
  • Management on coupons and brand merchandise including costs, artwork and orders.
  • Key contact for shopper marketing approvals and sales for trade advertisement requests.

What you'll need to succeed

  • IT literate - Microsoft Office (particularly Powerpoint and Excel)
  • Data interpretation and analysis
  • Strong organisation and time keeping skills
  • Ideally some experience of all marketing communications mix (TV, Press, PR, Promotions).
  • Experience or qualification in marketing/FMCG
