Are you a Production Manager or similar from a food industry background, looking to work for an award winning company who offer a stable, days based, Monday to Friday role where you are responsible for the overall running of their premier site?
On offer is the opportunity to join a family business with over 40 years' experience in creating award winning pies and pastries! They are always aiming for excellence in producing their products whilst providing a homely working environment.
You will be managing the team and also working hands on with them to ensure the smooth production of products. You will oversee the daily operations by checking the equipment, production numbers and quality.
This role would suit a hands on production manager with a background in the food industry, looking to work in a friendly family business, who offer you a stable, days based position with added responsibility.
The role:
- Overseeing the daily operations for production and quality control of the products
- Managing the team to ensure the efficiency of the production as well as being hands on.
- Ensuring health and safety and hygiene regulations are respected and ensuring the safe operation of equipment
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness by managing a HACCP system
- Monday - Friday (6:30AM-4PM)
The Person:
- Production Manager or similar
- Food manufacturing background or similar
- Commutable to Garforth
