Metrology Engineer
Location: LS19
Hiring Method: Permanent
Salary: Up to £18.50p/h
Metalis are working with an established manufacturing company who are looking to add a Metrology Engineer to their Metrology department. The candidate will be responsible for dimensional measurement and the programming of CMM Machines.
Responsibilities Include:
- Creating and Modifying CMM Programs using MCOMOS
- Creating FAI reports
- Creation of GOM Inspection Reports and programs
- Calibration using CMM machines
Person Specification:
- Experience writing and editing CMM programmes
- CAD Experience
- A Formal Technical Qualification: HNC or BTEC Level 4
- Ability to Read Engineering drawings
The Details:
- Up to £18.50p/h
- Days predominately but must be happy with a 2 shift pattern
- Permanent vacancy
