Payroll Advisor - Leeds, LS26

Are you an experienced Payroll Advisor looking for a new opportunity in Leeds, LS26? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to join our team on a permanent basis as a Payroll Advisor. If you have a strong background in end-to-end payroll processing, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end payroll processes accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate payment of employees
  • Stay up-to-date with payroll legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and guidelines
  • Work within a team of 3 Payroll Advisors, to successfully complete end to end payroll of circa 2000 employees  
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, including employee information, tax details, and other relevant data
  • Respond promptly and professionally to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and taxes
  • Generate and distribute payroll reports as needed, providing insights into payroll metrics and trends

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Advisor or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes including holiday calculations/ salary sacrifice & redundancy packages
  • Familiarity with relevant payroll software (Cascade - desired) and a good understanding of payroll/ pension legislation and compliance
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure error-free payroll processing
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Uphold the highest level of confidentiality when handling sensitive payroll information.

This is a hybrid role, working 3 WFH / 2 days office based. Salary between £27.5k - £32k depending on experience.
