Mobile Plant Mechanic

Salary: £45-60k per annum, DOE 

Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Leeds, which is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Mobile Plant Fitter.

Mobile Plant Mechanic Duties:

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mobile plant equipment such as trucks, loaders, conveyors and compactors
• Mechanic experience
• Perform planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair tasks.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
• Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.

Mobile Plant Mechanic Experience:

• Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter in a similar industry.
• Have electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.

• Knowledge of heavy mobile plant machinery and their maintenance requirements.
• Strong technical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
