Mobile Plant Mechanic
Salary: £45-60k per annum, DOE
Orion is partnered with a well-established business located in Leeds, which is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Mobile Plant Fitter.
Mobile Plant Mechanic Duties:
- Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs of mobile plant equipment such as trucks, loaders, conveyors and compactors
- Mechanic experience
- Perform planned maintenance activities to prevent equipment breakdowns.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure equipment availability and reliability.
- Comply with safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
Mobile Plant Mechanic Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter in a similar industry.
- Have electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment.
- Knowledge of heavy mobile plant machinery and their maintenance requirements.
- Strong technical and mechanical skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and compliance with regulations.
