The Company:

My client is one of the UK's leading manufacturers of advanced industrial, commercial, and environmental noise control systems. They are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their busy office in Leeds.

The company design, manufacture, and install noise control solutions around the UK and internationally. Established over 40 years ago, the company has extensive experience in providing bespoke acoustic products tailored to meet the specific requirements of various industries. The company is known for its technical expertise, high quality products, and commitment to delivering effective noise control solutions that comply to regulatory standards. Their product range includes acoustic enclosures, louvres, screens, panels, and attenuators designed to reduce noise levels in industrial and commercial environments.

The Role:

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for encouraging new equipment sales orders for the company. This role required you to liaise with other relevant members of the team and with their supply chain. Primarily, you will be working within the Power sector.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Engaging customers to ensure they have a thorough understanding of their project and specifications.
  • Maintaining, developing, and improving relationships with existing and new accounts.
  • Negotiating technical and commercial terms with relevant stake holders.
  • Identifying opportunities in target markets.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Acoustics / Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in sales, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of industrial equipment, such as standby generators, industrial fans, and blowers.
  • Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
  • Effective communication skills, both written and spoken.
