  • Basic Salary: Depending on Experience

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, target oriented Business Development Manager (New Business) to work for a highly successful national Managed Print Services (MPS) & Digital Technology company, generating new business.

XBM is one of the fastest growing multi-brand providers of MPS, and digital document technology. Continued growth means we are looking for ambitious individuals who are keen to develop high-earning sales careers.

Working with a rapidly growing company that represents major brands including Ricoh, Sharp, Epson, HP, and Develop, you will receive support from the company to facilitate your business development and career success, including coaching and marketing.

As well as paying high levels of commission, XBM rewards hard work through rewards and internal promotions. Advancement will open up additional lines of business from the company’s extensive portfolio of technology based products and the potential to account management of existing clients.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing New Business opportunities with your given territory
  • Identification of prospective clients
  • Identification of best method of approach
  • Engaging prospects with a view to outlining the company offering
  • Arousing prospect’s interest in the offering
  • Seeking to develop your relationship with new clients, with a view to upselling
  • Achieving sales success through monthly targets as allocated by management
  • Maintain communication with your line manager on your progress at all times

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience
  • Determination to succeed
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation
  • Highly developed people skills
  • Engaging and effective phone manner
  • Ability to access and build relationships with senior level prospects
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Target driven, with a strong focus on developing new customers
  • Hard working, high levels of activity
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workload
  • A full driving licence
  • An existing UK resident who is eligible to work in the UK
