Reed Education are recruiting for a successful Church of England Academy in Leeds seeking a highly motivated and hard-working Design Technology Teacher to join their staff. Part of a Multi Academy Trust, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher who is passionate about the development of the whole child and is eager to lead in design technology across the Academy.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Successfully lead in design technology across the Academy.
  • Encourage and enthuse students to achieve their full potential in design technology.
  • Teach across the ability range, ensuring all students are engaged and making progress.
  • Inspire colleagues and students by sharing best practice and innovative teaching methods.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum and resources within the design technology department.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven track record as a good/outstanding teacher.
  • Ability to successfully teach all aspects of KS3 & KS4 Design Technology.
  • A team-player who can develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to support the Trust’s Christian ethos as well as our shared mission and values.
  • A desire to start or further your career within a supportive team environment.
