Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist required to work within the Forensic Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. Car driver and car access essential in being able to fulfil this role. Hours are 37.5 across 6 days (Mon - Fri)

Salary: £30/h

What you'll need as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist :

  • Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
  • Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses to maintain and develop own specialist knowledge and expertise.
  • Recognised Speech & Language Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent (Post Graduate Diploma or MSc in Speech & Language Therapy leading to registration with HCPC)
  • HCPC Licence to Practice, Registered member of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists, Membership of relevant CEN
  • 6 months of paid patient facing UK nursing experience from within the past 3 years
  • Up-to-date clinical best practice knowledge
  • The right to work in the UK
