Warehouse Operative
Salary: £11.44 per hour – not age dependent
Permanent, Full Time 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Leeds, LS9 9AA
Our client, based in Leeds, is one of the UK’s leading men’s plus size fashion retailers and has built its reputation on empowering larger men to walk out in style wearing their favourite brands. They know how difficult it can be to find on trend clothing in larger sizes and that’s why they’ve become the go to place for men’s plus size clothing.
Due to company growth, they are now looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join their team. The successful applicant will also be required to help in the shop so any previous retail experience would be advantageous.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Picking and packing
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Working towards set daily productivity targets
- Moving and sorting parcels
- Labelling and re-labelling of items
- Following all aspects of our client’s manual handling and safe working policies
- Ensure warehouse is kept tidy and H&S issues reported immediately
- Ensuring all paperwork is up to date
- Checking for damaged or missing items
Successful candidates will have:
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment essential
- Organisation and teamwork skills
- Good communication skills required to work in a team
- A positive attitude
