Vehicle Mechanic

Location: Leek, Stoke On Trent

Type: Permanent

Shift Pattern: Full Time

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 6pm

Overtime offered for Saturdays

Pay: 30,000 - 35,000

Our client is a leading company looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join their growing team in a Mechanical Engineering Role.

As a Vehicle Mechanic, you're the expert who keeps vehicles running smoothly. Safety is paramount in your role, ensuring that vehicles meet industry standards and regulations. Your expertise and attention to detail help drivers get back on the road safely and confidently.

Role & Responsibilities

• Diagnosing mechanical issues,

• Performing vehicle repairs on all components of a vehicle (engines, brakes, suspension and electrical components),

• Conducting routine maintenance,

• Use of specialised tools and diagnostic equipment to identify issues accurately,

• Advising customers on necessary repairs estimated costs,

• Ordering replacement parts

Requirements

• Level 3 car mechanic qualification

(Landrover experience preferred, but not essential)

• Computer literate with experience in Microsoft Office,

• Ability to adapt to new internal software,

• Demonstrate pride in helping others,

• Project a positive and friendly attitude,

• Attention to detail,

• Assertive and compassionate,

• Expert listening and effective communication skills,

• Self motivation and drive to achieve targets.
