Broster Buchanan are partnered with a global business within the food industry with a turnover of £8Bn+ annually. They are looking for a Platform Manager to be responsible for a new part of the business leading the onboarding of their customers onto their new B2B Online Ordering Platform. This role would suit someone with a marketing/sales/operations background with some tech and commercial awareness.On offer is a salary of up to £40k/£45k + 10% annual bonus and a flexible working pattern with 1-2 days per week onsite at ideally either their Leicester or Hereford offices, and the rest remote. There is a very occasional need to travel to other sites around the UK.Responsibilities:
  • Work with Divisional Directors, Senior Managers and Business Analysts to drive the rollout of the system across multiple UK locations
  • Work with customers to support the onboarding process and liaising with other internal branches
  • Take responsibility for EDI for the Division, working with Senior colleagues, sales teams, IT and customers to drive increased EDI take up
  • Become the primary contact with the external software provider to ensure they get the best use out of the system
  • Become a Super User for the platform, able to help colleagues out with any queries
  • Coordinate and control business data flows to the platform, i.e. customer data, pricing, promotions, product master data, etc.
  • Work with wider IT to ensure accurate information flows to and from ERP systems
  • Troubleshoot areas of master data and develop processes to ensure accuracy going forward
Requirements:
  • Comfortable with building and maintaining customer relationships to support the onboarding process
  • Ability to take over ownership from the project team and work with key stakeholders to determine requirements and drive the rollout across the branches
  • Ability to interpret requirements across business and IT
  • A high degree of ownership, taking an organised and strategic approach to work
  • Experience of using Swiftcloud would be an advantage
  • FMCG or fresh produce experience would be an advantage
