An exciting opportunity to join a market leading pipework supplier, working with an established customer base with Main Contractors whilst delivering large projects across the UK.

Client Details

Our client is a specialist UK supplier of Safety Pipework and fuel transfer (Turnkey) systems, selling into the Construction industry. You will pro-actively work with Contractors across the UK on new projects for Commercial and Residential high-rise buildings as well as Hospitals and Universities.

This involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential and existing clients, and providing technical expertise to ensure the successful implementation of our products. You will work closely with the sales, engineering, and marketing teams to develop strategies that enhance market presence and achieve sales targets.

Description

  • Market Research and Analysis:

    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities in the Construction industry
    • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop strategic plans.
  • Business Development:

    • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase market share and achieve sales targets.
    • Identify and engage with key decision-makers in target companies to establish and maintain strong business relationships.
    • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Technical Expertise:

    • Provide technical support and guidance to clients on safety pipework products and solutions.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure client requirements are met and projects are executed successfully.
  • Project Management:

    • Oversee and manage safety pipework projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Sales and Marketing:

    • Work with the sales and marketing teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns to generate leads.
    • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote the company's products.

Profile

  • Experience infield sales, selling into the Contractor network
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful business strategies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Strong analytically and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK as required
