- To identify contractors and suppliers with the best capability to deliver construction, maintenance and compliance contracts throughout England for the benefit of local communities and secure their
- commitment to servicing Clients.
- To provide a full range of support to all clients throughout their building programmes or individual projects.
- Carry out visits to customers premises and project sites to ensure the companies services are delivered to customers’ satisfaction.
- Ensure Appointed Companies (ApCo’s) are complying with their obligations under our framework
- agreement through technical and pricing validations.
- Provide a well-documented and clear audit trail for all activity via Outlook Calendar and the CRM system and maintain competence in the use of all relevant operating systems
- Liaise with technical managers throughout the Group and field based colleagues ensuring best practice is shared and national requirements are delivered locally through the company.
- Support the development of the framework products through delivering technical expertise to the Accountable Officer.
- Accustomed to dealing with clients face to face, building and maintaining professional relationships and working in a customer focused environment.
- Knowledge of regulated procurement of goods and/or services with regard to Public Sector
- organisations.
- Experience of managing building / construction projects from site feasibility through to building completion
- Understanding of Construction / Project Management techniques, methodologies
- Knowledge of the Public Sector Procurement Regulations
- Working with Customer Relationship Management systems or other databases
- Experience in writing specifications and developing pricing schedules for construction projects.
- Experience of developing client relationships which deliver increased sales growth
- Ideally you will have knowledge of the social housing and local authority sectors within the Midlands
