As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be supporting them in driving efficiency through improved reliability of their assets. Other responsibilities will include:
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.
- Performing repairs and troubleshooting issues with electrical and mechanical systems.
- Collaborating with other team members to identify and implement process improvements.
- Responding to equipment breakdowns and prioritising repairs to minimise downtime.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of equipment installations and upgrades.
- Following safety protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
- Conducting regular inspections to identify potential problems and addressing them promptly
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
Profile
Applicants should have:
- Experience in a similar maintenance role within manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Proven experience in maintenance engineering with a stronger leaning toward electrical engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Familiarity with conveyor systems, materials handling equipment, and warehouse machinery.
- Electrical Installation 17th Edition
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
