Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer with experience of both Electronics and Systems Engineering? Are you looking to join a world leading business who design and manufacture advanced products for the Aerospace, Energy, Power, Medical and Industrial markets? As an Electronics Engineer you will have extensive knowledge of electronic control systems with an appreciation of mechanical mechanisms. Offering a salary of £60-65K + benefits

The Role:

  • A key player in the R&D team and more specifically within the electronics section
  • Provide cross-functional systems design support to the engineering and manufacturing of high value products
  • Involves hands on implementation, testing and documentation
  • Working closely with the manufacturing and research and development teams to ensure electronic products are designed for manufacture / assembly
  • Liaise with mechanical, electronics and software engineers as required to understand and support the best solutions to system level problems
  • Understand product life cycles from cradle to grave
  • Provide support to sustaining products
  • Travel to customer sites or suppliers to support business operations from time to time

Suitable Candidate:

  • Degree qualified in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
  • Extensive experience of working in the development of electro-mechanical machinery with a strong knowledge of electronic control systems
  • An understanding of electronics including analogue and digital
  • Advanced knowledge of the application of electronics to control applications and industrial settings
  • Able to interpret wiring diagrams and electronic schematics. Circuit design, PCB design, and manufacturing including prototyping
  • Willingness to be hands on, such as prototyping cables, soldering and reworking PCBs, building and inspecting customisations
  • Strong communicator, face to face, online and through documentation.
