We are seeking a proactive and physically active Deliveries Operative to join the office function of a well-known fashion and home retailer. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual who enjoys being part of a team and can handle the physical demands of the role with a positive attitude.
Day to Day of the role:- Communicate effectively with staff at all levels and external bodies.
- Move heavy items safely, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Ensure couriers sign in upon arrival.
- Scan and log parcels, entering details onto appropriate sheets.
- Sort parcels into designated areas at the Head Office site.
- Deliver items to relevant areas within Head Office, obtaining signatures for each.
- Assist in other areas of the office function as required.
- Physically fit and capable of handling heavy items.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a diverse team.
- Attention to detail for accurate logging and tracking of deliveries.
- Familiarity with health and safety practices for manual handling.
- Team player with a hands-on approach to tasks.
- Temporary ongoing contract with the potential for permanent employment.
- Onsite car park for ease of access.
- 3 onsite canteens offering a variety of meal options.
