Role: Finance Manager
Location: Leicester
Salary: 50,000 - 55,000

As a result of business growth, in this newly created position, you will be working closely with senior stake holders as part of a busy international team, responsible for delivering statutory and regulatory reports, and supporting in the creation and maintenance of robust project governance and control policies.
Your role will include:
- Produce yearly plans and forecasts
- Ensure all appropriate P&L and balance sheets reconciliations are performed
- Produce annual budgets
- Monitor and analyse spend against budget
- Conduct variance analysis
- Take a lead on internal and external audits
- Assist with statutory reporting and completion of Tax packages
- Prepare quarterly and annual returns
- Support with on-going improvement initiatives, including analytical tools, creation of policies, and review of technology or systems
- Become a key contact for senior operational management team
- Prepare and present key financial information
- Support and interact with the broader Financial Accounting team with ad-hoc tasks
Your background:
- Proven experience is key - previous financial accounting experience is essential
- Able to prepare and review financial statements
- Possess excellent report writing skills, and be able to present detailed information to senior management team
- Able to prioritise work and meet fixed deadlines
- Qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or similar)
- Good command of Excel
- A team player with a positive can-do attitude, resilient, collaborative, and organised
