Cut & Crease Minder – Carton Packaging
Location: Leicester
Shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (rotating days and nights)
Salary: £45,711 overtime excellent benefits
Due to continued growth and success, a leading name in the packaging industry is seeking an experienced Cut & Crease 1st Minder to join their well-established production team. The Role:
- Set and run Bobst die-cutting and creasing machinery to high performance and quality standards.
- Interpret and follow working instructions accurately to meet production requirements.
- Conduct quality checks and first-off pass inspections throughout production runs.
- Optimise machine performance while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Carry out routine maintenance in line with the Asset Care Program.
- Participate in the 5S programme and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the wider team to meet production targets and provide cover during holidays, absences, and peak demand.
- Support the transfer of work in and out of the department and maintain high levels of housekeeping.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating die-cutting and creasing machinery.
- Experience with Bobst
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
- Good communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive team player with self-motivation and a flexible approach.
- Computer literate and confident with following SOPs and quality policies.
- Focused on efficiency, continuous improvement, and high operational standards.
