IT Upgrade Project

Concept are currently recruiting for experienced IT/EPOS engineers to assist with and IT Upgrade project in the Leicester/ Nottingham/ Northampton areas

The successful Engineers will work on 2-3 week contract starting early June, with potential of more project work

Details of the role:

• IT Upgrades to pre-staged time clock in retail stores
• Engineers will be required to remove the old clock and PSU, they will then need to fit the new GT4 clock which is POE and repatch
• Resolve any issues if and when they occur
• Complete sign off and sign out
• Engineers to collect staged devises prior to project start and store clocks securely at home returning all at the end of the project - collection location TBC

Hours of Work

• Monday to Friday day work
• 9 hours per day, door to door including travel
• Contract is due to start with training on either 6th or 7th June and run for 2 - 3 weeks
• Expectation of 5 days' work per week per engineer
• Travel will be a requirement of this role - engineer must have access to a large reliable vehicle with appropriate business insurance, valid MOT
• 2 sites of sites per day

Required skillset:

• Experienced field engineers with experience of script-based ATM/Epos/IT project work, engineers must have basic fault finding skills
• Must have a full UK Driving license and own reliable vehicle with business insurance
• Must have standard engineering toolkit, PPE hard hat / boots etc
• Engineer must be able to pass BS7858 vetting check
• Engineers will need to complete H&S accreditation in their own time (2 - 3 hours)
• Be comfortable in competing script-based activity

Rate details

• 145 per day shift based on a 9-hour day including travel
• Overtime more than 9 hours is paid at 16.11 per hour
• Mileage claimable after 100 miles per day, 25ppm thereafter

This role has been assessed and deemed an Outside IR35 role
