Job Title: People Partner
Location: Leicester
Working arrangement: Site based, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm
We are proudly supporting our manufacturing client in the recruitment of a People Partner who will act as a strategic partner to senior management, shaping People plans to support business objectives, foster talent, and build high-performing teams.
This is a 'meaty' HR role which requires a HR professional who has a business partner mentality and is confident and capable across operational and strategic elements of HR.
Responsibilities include:
*Provide expert guidance and direction on People matters, ensuring alignment with business goals and values.
*Manage the People team, providing effective support and development opportunities.
*Collaborate with People Leads community to drive initiatives promoting growth and development for all employees.
*Partner with business leaders to cultivate a values-based culture and ensure People considerations are integral to decision-making.
*Represent the People Team in senior management meetings, driving strategic People plans and influencing key decisions.
*Execute the People strategy across the employment lifecycle, emphasising colleague experience and business value.
*Manage change initiatives, addressing capability and engagement.
*Promote diversity, inclusion, and colleague wellbeing as strategic priorities.
*Oversee colleague engagement efforts, including surveys and action planning.
*Facilitate talent mapping and succession planning activities, supporting high-potential colleague development.
*Collaborate with L&D team to develop leaders and support colleague progression.
*Ensure compliance with training requirements and budget management for L&D activities.
*Manage recruitment processes, including onboarding and offboarding, for monthly and weekly paid roles.
*Handle complex colleague relations issues and monitor attendance, absence, and disciplinary matters.
*Utilise data and metrics to inform People-related decisions and enhance stakeholder engagement.
*Lead or support internal and external audits related to People operations.
*Stay updated on industry best practices and market trends relevant to People operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
*HR qualification essential- CIPD Level 5 or above would be advantageous.
*Experience in business partnering at senior management team level.
*Previous people management experience
*Proficiency in people management, development, and change management.
*Strong skills in employee relations, mediation, coaching, and training
*Have a valid UK Driving License and access to your own transport.
