Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading Manufacturer of industrial filtration products and services that is growing rapidly. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an exciting manufacturer of highly technical filtration products.

The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will work remotely, covering The Midlands and the South West selling and managing key accounts of filtration products and services at customer sites into various industries.


The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling, servicing, or managing accounts within, flow control, HVAC, Air filtration, pumps, valves, vacuum systems, fluid power products, mechanical engineering or similar filtration products & services

Package
£35,000 - £45,000 depending on experience
Commission Scheme based on sales.

An Internal Sales Engineer looking to move into an external position would be considered for this position.

Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Role

  • Managing a number of key accounts via distribution channels and OEM customers into various industries
  • Manage and grow existing relationships as well as business development by selling filtration products such as Cartridges, Filter housing, Bag Filtration, Reverse Osmosis and Water Treatment solutions.
  • Maintaining new filtration sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets.
  • Working closely with the Service Department to ensure an excellent standard of after-sales service is provided.
  • Work with other members of the Sales, Marketing and Technical teams, to identify issues, propose solutions and take part in projects to contribute to operational and sales efficiency.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.
  • Fully remote, covering a Southwest and Midlands patch, planning and managing a growing area of the business.
 
Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements

  • Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar ideally within HVAC or filtration.
  • Experience selling or managing accounts within the fluid power sector such as, HVAC, Air filtration, pumps, valves, vacuum systems, or similar filtration products & services. Full training provided.
  • A Filtration Service Engineer looking to come off the tools and progress into a sales role would also be of interest.
  • A background within, flow control, fluid power, pumps, valves, HVAC or air movement would be greatly considered for this position.
  • A technical engineering qualification, Apprentice trained, or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Full clean driving license.
  • Willingness to travel around The Midlands and the South West and will ideally be based around the midlands.
