Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company objectives.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions to mitigate workplace incidents and accidents.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on health, safety, and environmental matters, including training programs and awareness campaigns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety and environmental considerations into daily operations and strategic planning initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, maintaining compliance records and facilitating inspections as required.

Experience

  • Proven experience in health, safety, and environmental management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to health, safety, and environmental practices.
  • Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are desirable.
