Our client is a pioneer in vertical storage solutions, tailoring specific systems to meet the unique needs of each of their valued clients. With over 40 years of industry expertise, they specialise in servicing, upgrading, and relocating storage carousels.

You will join a dedicated team, who always delivers fantastic technical assistance and advice to clients; ensuring their operations run smoothly and efficiently.

This position offers flexible working. You will be working at customer sites where you'll need to be picked up early at 5:00am (may differ) for on-site visits all over the UK. These visits typically conclude around 12pm, though there may be instances where the workday extends until 6pm.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Experience in engineering or a related field, with a strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed. There will be occasional nights out.

What will your role look like?

As a Service Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of the company's mission to provide exceptional service. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting on-site inspections, repairs, and maintenance of vertical storage systems
  • Working closely with major companies and retailers such as Crown Court, Buckingham Palace, Heinz, Walkers, and Nestle to ensure their storage solutions meet their needs
  • Offering expert advice and technical assistance to clients to optimise the performance of their storage systems
  • Occasional travel outside of the UK may be required to support our global clientele
  • Daily reports to be completed to management or updates
