Job Title:  MHE Maintenance Leader

The Role 

  • Responsible for leading the MHE maintenance department, ensuring availability and reliability of operational equipment is achieved to the highest degree.
  • Mentor, guide, monitor and develop the team in a way that promotes best practice methodology.
  • Support the implementation of Continuous Improvement opportunities including budgetary controls.
  • Ensure that H&S standards are designed into maintenance tasks and modifications. Implementing and monitoring risk assessments and safe systems of work.
  • Manage the maintenance calendar ensuring all maintenance procedures are completed to excellent standards enabling high performance and reliability of the equipment.
  • Support audits of site performance and challenge current maintenance strategies to ensure maximum value is maintained.
  • Prioritise and plan MHE repairs with minimal disruption in line with business needs.
  • Management of legislative requirements of maintenance on equipment including LOLER Certification
  • Delivering performance KPI’s such as safety compliance, spares management, cost control and maintenance turnaround.
  • Complete Team Reviews, identifying and supporting development requirements for direct reports.

 

The Person
