Job: Vehicle Damage Assessor/ Estimator

Salary: £40K

Area: Leicester

Ascend Talent is seeking a VDA to join a prestige family owned accident repair centre based in Leicester. As a VDA you will be responsible for all damage assessment, negotiation & customer liaison aspects of the vehicles entrusted with the ARC. In this position it requires knowledge & previous experience of the various systems & methods.

Responsibilities: As a Vehicle Damage Assessor you will be responsible for;

• Utilise Audatex software to assess vehicle damage and calculate repair costings efficiently.
• Liaise effectively with insurance engineers and customers to ensure clear communication and seamless resolution of issues.
• Generate precise damage assessments in accordance with BSI PAS 10125 standards, adhering strictly to correct repair methods.
• Strive for excellence in professionalism and accuracy throughout all stages of the estimation process.

Experience/ Skill:

• Plan your workload effectively to ensure vehicles are repaired to the agreed service level agreements (SLA’S)
• Work to a high standard in a fast paced environment
• Carry out work in accordance with manufacturers specifications
• Work as part of a team as well as on your own initiative with minimal supervision
• Be flexible in your approach
• Continually work to high standards with customer satisfaction in mind.
