Metalis are currently working with a market leading manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join their team.

Job Duties:

Working with mechanical components such as gears, bearings, motors, seals etc
Assemble mechanical parts by following engineering drawings
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
Work on a variety of different projects
Carry out inspections and tests

Job Requirements:

Mechanical Fitting experience
Worked in a heavy engineering environment
MIG welding experience (desired)
Knowledge of mechanical systems, heavy machinery and components
Able to read and work from engineering drawings

Salary & Shift:

£14.00 - £17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm
Guaranteed overtime available at 1.5x
