As a member of the Operations team, your primary responsibilities will include:
Regular Basis:
- Coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure timely recording of received goods in the system.
- Assisting the Procurement manager in sourcing new raw materials and packaging as needed.
- Conducting daily/weekly/monthly stock counts and reconciliations for all raw materials in the factory, addressing any discrepancies.
- Accurately maintaining the costs of raw materials and packaging in the system.
- Obtaining logistic quotes for new customer requirements and necessary approval documentation from suppliers.
- Conducting routine checks of chillers/freezers and filing daily delivery notes.
- Handling product sampling requests and undertaking project work related to business improvement plans.
Ad Hoc Basis:
- Providing holiday cover for other team members as required.
Procurement and Logistics:
- Maintaining and updating procurement schedules daily.
- Issuing accurate purchase orders and communicating any potential delays or issues to relevant teams.
- Ensuring suppliers can meet required delivery dates when order confirmations are not received.uality Assurance:
- Recording micro samples in the system and liaising with senior management for product concessions.
- Managing non-conformance reports and liaising with the Procurement manager.
Required skills:
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Minimum of 2 years of FMCG experience, preferably in the food industry
- Advanced IT skills, particularly in Excel (Pivot table, Hlookup, Vlookup, Indexmatch, etc.)
- Methodical and diligent work approach
