A design-led, multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a proactive Project Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit team in Leicester. Specialising in the education sector, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of projects ranging from 100k to 10m, including refurbishments, new builds, feasibility studies, and the delivery of brand-new sports halls.

As Project Quantity Surveyor in the organisation, you will be working closely with in-house Architects and Building Surveyors, taking a leading role in cost control, project delivery, and client engagement. You'll be supported in your development, whether you're already Chartered or working towards MRICS status.

The Project Quantity Surveyor

The company has a strong local presence and a team of around 30 professionals. While the core Project Quantity Surveyor function is based in Leicester, there is a hybrid working approach-ideally suited to candidates living within 40 minutes of the office. A converted barn provides a creative and collaborative workspace, with flexibility offered for site visits and one day a week remote working.

This role is ideal for a Project Quantity Surveyor looking to work on meaningful projects within the education sector, while enjoying a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • MRICS status preferred or working towards chartership
  • Experience managing cost control on refurbishment and new build projects
  • Strong understanding of feasibility studies and project management principles
  • Previous work within the education sector beneficial, but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal and external teams
  • Comfortable running projects from inception to completion
