Salary:MPS - UPS3 £30,000 - £46,525 per annum
At GSL Education in Leicester we have been asked by our clients to help them find Religious Studies, Philosophy, Ethics and Humanities Teachers for the new academic year starting in September 2024. There may also be opportunities to start area if possible. Job Duties:- Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons to students
- Develop and implement curriculum in line with educational standards
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback
- Support students in their academic and personal development
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure student success
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Religious Studies or related field
- Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum for Religious Studies
Minimum of a degree in Religious Studies or Humanities
Experience:Prior experience teaching Religious Studies preferred
Knowledge and Skills:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage and motivate students
- Strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in educational technology
- Postgraduate qualification in Education
- Experience working with diverse student populations
The role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. Regular working hours are expected, with occasional additional hours for meetings or events.
