Job Duties:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons to students
  • Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide feedback
  • Develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student learning
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Education:

Bachelor's degree in Science or related field

Experience:

Previous experience in teaching science at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate students
  • Organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience in teaching science to diverse student populations
Working Conditions:

The Science Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. The role may involve some extracurricular activities and occasional parent meetings.
