Would you like to solve some of the most interesting design challenges in the defence industry today? Due to continued investment, this global business is currently looking for 2 Quality Engineers to join their existing team in Bristol, hybrid working on an initial 6 month contract.

The Role

As a Quality Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Assess and prioritise goods inwards quality activities, ensuring it meets production, project, procurement, and customer requirements.
  • Work with the cross-functional discipline personnel, helping to achieve delivery milestones and ensuring a fit for purpose / quality product to the customer.
  • Carry out visual checks for any surface flaws, paint quality and identification requirements.

In addition, you will also participate and support customer and regulatory Audits and in NCR, 5 WHY, 4C and 8D investigations as and when required.

You

To succeed within the role of a Quality Engineer, you'll have experience in a similar position and have the following skills:

  • At least 5 years' experience in an Engineering Inspection role.
  • Ability to Read and interpret engineering drawings, procedures and supporting documentation.
  • Ability to analysis data and produce trend charts to aid Lean Activity.

Please note that due to security nature of this role, offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining BPSS security clearance. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and will require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
