Diesel Mechanic - Vehicle Technician

We are looking for an experienced workshop engineer to join our small friendly team at our purpose built workshops.

The candidate must be motivated with high standards and willing to work hard in our busy workshop.

Diesel Mechanic - Job description

Duties will include- but not limited to:-

• *Carrying out inspections
• *MOT preparations
• *Attend breakdowns
• *General Maintenance of vehicles and dealing with defects.
• Car Driving licence and relevant qualifications required.
• PCV licence would be a benefit but not essential.

We do have the possibility of two fixed shifts listed below:-

Permanent day shift

• Start time between - 06:00/07:00 – 16:00/17:00 - Finish time
• Every other Saturday, which can start between - 06:00/08:00 to 10:00/12:00
• You will also be required to cover on call – every 4 weeks

Basic Salary £52,780.00 per annum plus overtime

Permanent late shift

• Monday to Thursday
• Start time - 16:00 to 04:00 – Finish time
• Alternate Friday’s
• Start time 15:00 to 21:00 – Finish time
• On occasions you may be required to help cover the on call.

£58,604 per annum plus overtime

Training will be provided on specialist equipment on site.
