We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established company based in Leighton Buzzard. This is a temp to perm position, therefore, our client are seeking someone who is free for an immediate start.
Working Hours: 07:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday (other than 3 Saturday stock-takes per year where overtime rate paid).
As an important part of a team you will maintain the timely supply products to ALL customers. Full training will be given, however, experience in manufacturing, assembly, and warehouse environments and use of hand-tools is essential.
Duties:
- Assembling products, using hand-tools.
- Loading and unloading products. Please note, these can be heavy.
- Preparing products, ready for dispatch.
- Corresponding with internal and external parties, therefore, customer service skills are essential.
- Completing data entry duties, when required.
- Supporting with all general warehouse duties.
- Adhering to health & safety procedures.
Skills Required:
- Ability to use a hand-tools - previous experience is essential.
- Confident in working to targets and deadlines.
- Data entry skills, therefore, good English and Numeracy skills.
- Experience of working within a production based environment.
- Able to handle heavy based products.
