Adecco are recruiting HR Project Officers to work on site with our client Collins in Leighton Buzzard. Our Client is one of the worlds largest suppliers of aerospace and defence products.

Role: HR Projects Officer

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Hours: 39, Monday - Friday

Duration: 6 months

Hybrid, 3 days in office, 2 days WFH.

About the role:

The HR Projects Officer role will support the HR team in executing key, strategic projects that focus on educating, engaging and inspiring employees to build an internal culture of pride and belonging. This role will sit within the HR Partner team and report to the Senior HR Manager.

Within this role you will be working with members of the wider HR functions to coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. You will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within cost where necessary. You will thrive working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to manage a number of projects concurrently. The HR Projects officer will collaborate with business areas to utilise their knowledge and expertise to create and deliver proactive and progressive projects to support business goals, and partner with other functions of the HR operating model including our Centres of Excellence in the execution of HR related projects.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a minimum CIPD level 5 qualification, or relevant equivalent qualification.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years' working experience in a comparable HR Project role.
  • Extensive experience creating and deploying HR projects relating to Onboarding, Employee Communications, Early Careers, Talent Management, and Succession Planning.
  • A creative mind-set with the ability to challenge the norm to generate new ideas.
  • Highly motivated, with a keen interest in HR activities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Detail focused but able to see the "big picture" and maintain progress.
  • Experience of planning and executing projects of varying size and complexity.
  • Able to interpret data and provide clear rationale and/or business explanations.
  • Highly organised approach with excellent quality control.
