Cabron60 is looking for an experienced Civil Superintendent to join a leading European construction contractor and take charge of civil engineering projects at a bustling power station site in Suffolk.
Position: Civil Superintendent
Location: Suffolk
Contract: 12 months
Salary: 350 to 400 per day outside IR35
As a Civil Superintendent, you'll be instrumental in overseeing and managing civil engineering projects from conception to completion. Your duties will range from project planning and design review to on site supervision and budget management. Lead a team of civil engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver top-notch solutions.
Responsibilities Include
- Develop comprehensive plans and strategies.
- Review project designs for compliance.
- Manage project budgets and resource allocation.
- Provide on site supervision and guidance.
- Ensure construction adheres to safety regulations.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and quality specifications.
- Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
- Experience in civil engineering project supervisory roles.
- Proficiency in CAD software for civil engineering.
- Knowledge of engineering software like AutoCAD Civil 3D, SAP2000, or ETABS.
- Familiarity with geotechnical engineering principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
