Job Title: Deputy Manager-Childrens Residential Home (SEMH)

Location: Leiston, Suffolk
Days and hours of work: 40 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £28,500-£33,000 depending on experience
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for Deputy Manager within a Children's Residential Home in Leiston along the Suffolk Coast. This is a 4 bedded residential home for Children with SEMH who require help and support to grow and develop into adulthood.
Our client provides care for Children aged between 9-17 years old, ensuring they live in nurturing homes.
THE ROLE
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
- You will have experience working with Children with SEMH
- You will have proven experience dealing with behaviour that challenges
- Full clean driving licence
- Have experience and knowledge of the Ofsted framework
- NVQ level 3 or above (Essential)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management in Children's Health and Social Care ( not essential but must be willing to undertake)
- A passion for supporting Children and encouraging independence
- Creating staff rota's and monitoring staff holidays and sickness
- Auditing case files and writing reports
- Assisting the Registered manager in HR administration tasks
- Good communicator on all levels
