We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced manager to run one of our solo provision homes in Letchworth, Hertfordshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a small team and work in a solo placement children's home.

The role of the manager will be to implement leadership and management of the home and to ensure the delivery of high quality care to the young people. Managing and developing staff teams and individuals, as well as contributing to the overall objectives of the Home.

The ideal candidate will be:

Understanding of the effects of trauma on young people.

Understanding of Children's homes regulations and working with Ofsted.

Organised and highly competent in written tasks.

Able to work independently and efficiently.

Must have at least 2 years of managerial experience in a residential children's homes.

Experienced in care planning, assessments and reviews.

The candidate MUST hold a level 3 and level 5 in Health and social care. (or hold a qualification directly related to this field such as a social work degree)

Must hold a full clean UK driving licence.

Available to work Monday- Friday 9am -5pm and also share on call rota with the deputy manager and director.
