Associate Mechanical Engineer

This is an exciting opportunity for an established Senior Mechanical engineer who is looking to progress to an Associate level within a Building services consultancy who provide a holistic approach to the built environment, the successful candidate will lead on a range of projects whilst mentoring the more junior members in the clients' offices in East Sussex.
Role responsibilities include:
- Manage the mechanical engineering team and help provide technical solutions for projects
- Work alongside existing client as well as bring in new business opportunities through referrals
- Mentor the more junior members of the team and help develop their careers
- Take the lead on sustainable and mechanical strategies for projects as well as ensuring the design of these projects meet quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Either working towards or have already achieved CIBSE chartership
- Educational background within a Mechanical or Building Services Engineering field
- Minimum 5 years' experience within a relevant role and the building services industry
- Experience in taking the lead on multi-discipline projects as well as providing your expertise to an engineering team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
