Support Worker

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking Support Workers, or practitioners from similar backgrounds to provide aid and support for children and adolescents in our client user schools in Leyland.

The SEN Schools are seeking individuals with experience providing essential assistance with daily living, personal care and emotional support to service users with various needs, helping them maintain and enhance independence. Within the SEN Schools, there is academic support, but also a huge emphasis on personal and social development. As a result, those with a Support Worker background, or similar skill set, thrive in an SEN School environment.

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

If you consider yourself to be calm, patient, empathetic and driven, then this could be the perfect role for you.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience supporting individuals with additional needs
  • A willingness to obtain an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
  • Experience working with additional needs and/or behaviour that challenges
