As a Financial Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
- Oversee the consolidation of monthly management accounts and quarterly reporting.
- Coordinate and manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors and providing necessary documentation.
- Prepare statutory accounts and analyse financial statements under IFRS & UK GAAP (FRS101 & 102
- Responsibility for IFRS 16 compliance, impairment reviews, and assessments internationally
- Proficiency in conducting due diligence
- Comprehensive understanding of acquisition accounting
- Engage in the budgeting process and various ad hoc FP&A activities.
- Manage reporting to the group and collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial information and ensure data accuracy for reporting purposes.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of financial reporting processes and systems.
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the finance leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
