Our client is a market leader in the food produce industry. Their products can be found in many supermarkets across the UK and their brand is known for quality and taste.

Owing to promotions, they now have openings for 2 x Pack Leads to manage and lead small teams of c7 staff. It will be your job to ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality and that production targets are met.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring compliance with H&S regulations and policies
  • Managing the activity and performance of a small team to achieve daily production targets and KPI's
  • Ensuring products manufactured meet / exceed quality standards.
  • Allergen Control / GMP
  • Completing checks to ensure accuracy of labels and weights of finished products, and ensuring seals on finished articles are satisfactory
  • Supporting and training members of your team
  • Completing traceability and production paperwork

Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience of working in a busy food manufacturing environment - ideally within fmcg/chilled/fresh produce.
  • A good understanding of written and spoken English.
  • An understanding of H&S and Food Safety regulations
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and leadership skills
