Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)

Panama Shift Pattern (12-hour days/nights, rotating)

I've got an exciting opportunity for you!

 

Are you someone who can help maintain and improve a variety of machinery and equipment across our busy factory. This is a hands-on role with a mix of planned maintenance and fast-paced troubleshooting, so if you're confident working across both electrical and mechanical systems, keep reading.

 

You'll be fixing and maintaining machinery as well as;

  • Carrying out day-to-day maintenance on production equipment
  • Responding to breakdowns and keeping downtime to a minimum
  • Performing preventative maintenance site-wide
  • Supporting with factory start-up and equipment testing
  • Logging all work accurately and on time

 

You'll need to have the relvant qualifiactions...

  • A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in engineering (NVQ L3 or City and Guilds L3)
  • Strong electrical knowledge, with mechanical skills too
  • Experience in manufacturing (ideally food, but not essential)
  • A proactive approach to safety and fault diagnosis
