About our Client:

We are pleased to be working with a provider of residential care services specialising primarily in mental health support. Caring for both male and females aged 40+ they have a commitment to providing person-centered care in a very settled home environment. Rated 'GOOD' with CQC, our client's aim is to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives within a supportive and nurturing environment.

About the role as a Registered Manager:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to join our client's team to oversee the operations of their home for mental health service users. As a Registered Manager you will be a qualified RMN or RGN with a live PIN and play a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment for their residents.

Key Responsibilities as a Registered Manager:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the residential home, including staffing, care provision, and facilities management.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of person-centered care.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and legislation, including CQC requirements, health and safety regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive culture within the home, promoting a supportive environment where residents feel valued, respected, and empowered.
  • Establish effective communication channels with residents, their families, staff members, and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and collaboration in care delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care provision, implementing improvements and best practices as necessary to enhance the quality-of-service delivery.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring the efficient operation of the residential home while maximizing value for residents and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience as a Registered Manager:

  • MUST be RMN or RGN Qualified
  • Previous experience in a managerial role within a CQC care home setting
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in residential care, with a commitment to upholding standards of excellence.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver outstanding care.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a genuine commitment to promoting the dignity, independence, and well-being of residents.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
