Our client is looking to recruit an Electrician to join their team at the hub in Lincoln.

About the Role

Working to deliver the best quality service, you’ll join us to undertake electrical repairs, testing and installation works across your dedicated area, whilst complying with BS7671, ensuring implementation and compliance is inline with their Health and Safety Policy and procedures.

You’ll produce concise and accurate data records through PDA / mobile communication systems and reporting, ensuring tasks are completed right, first time, with materials and timescales both achievable and deliverable. Attending Team Briefs, Toolbox Talks and Technical Bulletins monthly, you’ll demonstrate a positive, diverse and inclusive attitude to both internal and external customer and colleagues at all times.

About You

The minimum qualification requirements for this role are as follow:

Any of:

  • Level 3 NVQ in Electrotechnical Services (Electrical Installation - Buildings & Structures)
  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical systems and equipment (buildings, structures and the environment)
  • City & Guilds 2360 Electrical Installation Theory and Practice Part 2
  • Level 3 Certificate in Electrotechnical Technology

and

  • Electrical Installations BS7671 (18th Edition) if not delivered as part of one of the above courses
  • ECS Card - Gold (this can be obtained during probation)

The desirable qualifications for this role are as follow:

Demonstrated competence in Inspection and Testing and obtained either:

  • Level 3 Certificate in the Certification of Electrical Installations (inspection, testing and certification of electrical installations) or
  • Both the City & Guilds 2394 Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification & Certification of Electrical Installations and the City & Guilds 2395 Level 3 Award in the Periodic, Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations.

You must hold a valid full UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months as a company vehicle will be provided (work use only).

This role is working Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm. Candidates must be able to facilitate working 1 in 4 week on the out of hours rota.
