Mechanical Estimator - Retirement Homes, MOD/MOJ and Commercial projects - South Lincolnshire

A M&E Building Services Contractor are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to be based from their office in South Lincolnshire. This is an exciting opportunity join an expanding office for a well-established business. They offer a comprehensive electrical and mechanical installation service across many sectors including MOJ, MOD, Retirement Homes and Commercial / Industrial.As the Mechanical Estimator you will work within an established estimating team preparing mechanical estimates of values from £250,000 to £10m. The position is open to range of experience and will be reflected on the salary on offer depending on experience.The Mechanical Estimator will have the following duties and responsibilities:· Ensure tenders are prepared to a high standard.· Obtain competitive and accurate quotations from mechanical specialists.· Liaising with other members of the estimating team and project managers.· Carry out estimates using electronic packages.· Develop working relationships with in-house and external design consultants, main contractors and clients to establish communication paths. Successful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience:· Experience within in similar position as Mechanical Estimator.· Mechanical qualifications.· Strong negotiation skills.· Confident communicator.
