About the role:

An unmissable opportunity has arisen for a science teacher to join a secondary school in the science department on an on-going supply basis. The role is to cover KS3 & KS4 science. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an ECT to develop their career as well as more experienced teachers.

The school are part of the prestigious David Ross Education Trust (DRET).

Ideal candidate:

The ideal candidate for this role is a candidate looking for long-term supply work or ECT’s with QTS as this role could lead to a permanent contract. Candidates looking for part time work will also be considered. The candidate should be able to start as soon as possible, however, the school are willing to wait for the right candidate.

Skills/experience:

Possess a PGCE certificate with QTSDBS on the update service (although if no current DBS is available this can be applied for via REED).Previous experience of teaching science in a secondary mainstream environment although the post is suitable for newly qualified teachers with QTS.Understanding of the National curriculum covering the core disciplines of physics, chemistry and biology.A passion for your subject and a strong commitment to safeguarding children.If this role is of interest to you, please contact Clare Slatter at Reed Education at or call for further information.
