Blackwaters recruiting an Accountant role on a 1 year FTC for a global manufacturing business based in West Sussex. £45,000 salary and hybrid working.
Responsibilities:
- Manage General Ledger for assigned entities and oversee various financial activities.
- Prepare journal entries, ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations, and review transactions.
- Interpret financial regulations, analyse statements, and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate with subsidiaries, generate management reports, and assist with audits.
- Support Finance Manager and regional finance team as needed.
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP, other GAAP experience is advantageous.
- Advanced Excel capabilities.
- AAT qualified and/or ACCA/CIMA part qualified.
Desirable:
- Experience with ERP systems, SAP highly desirable.
- Experience working for a US led multi-national company.
- Working within a manufacturing organisation
